Insurance Providers

Please do advise me when we connect if you, your spouse, a parent, or another relevant plan-holder subscribe to an insurance provider that would be able to cover some or all of your counselling fees for my services. When insurance coverage is verified, I do provide insurance receipts. Private counselling services are usually not covered by provincial and territorial healthcare plans.

Financial Accommodations

Cost of services and finances should never be a barrier to crucial counselling service. We as a community need to engage in constant advocacy to our local and national politicians to have all counselling services covered through our healthcare systems.

Many professionals in private practice seek to reduce financial barriers by offering a sliding scale for their counselling rates. I do offer a sliding scale for my counselling services and this can be discussed in more detail on an individual, as needed basis.
